Two killed in dumper collision on Karachi superhighway

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Two policemen were killed after a rashly driven dumper collided with a police van in the Superhighway area of Karachi on Monday, according to reports aired by television channels.

Initial reports said the dumper struck the police vehicle while it was passing through the area, resulting in a severe collision.

Both policemen died on the spot.

Rescue team reached the scene shortly after the incident and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for legal formalities.

Police authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
