Husband kills wife over domestic dispute

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) A woman was allegedly murdered by her husband with a sharp-edged weapon following a domestic dispute in the Qadir Pur Raan area of Multan on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, an emergency call was received that a woman sustained serious injures in an attack near Wasli Wala on Tate Pur road, Qadir Pur Raan. Rescue teams immediately rushed to the scene but found the victim dead upon arrival.

The deceased was identified as 36-year-old Zainab, wife of Mazhar. Rescue officials stated that she had suffered multiple deep wounds caused by a sharp-edged weapon.

Local people informed police and rescue teams that the victim’s husband, allegedly a drug addict, attacked her during a domestic altercation.

Police and forensic teams reached the scene soon after the incident and collected evidence for investigation. The body was shifted to Nishtar hospital in police presence.
