Baloch leader calls on President Zardari, announces to join PPP

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) Baloch leader Shafiq Ur Rahman Mengal on Wednesday called on President Asif Ali Zardari and announced his decision to join the Pakistan Peoples Party.

Senior Vice President of PPP Balochistan Ali Hasan Zehri was also present at the meeting, according to a press release issued by the Presidency.

PPP leaders from Balochistan, including Malik Changez Khan, Kambho Khan Brahmani, and Jameel Ahmed Birejo, were also accompanying him.
