Traders praised police with Eid gifts

MIRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) A traders’ association has held an appreciation ceremony here to recognise the services of police officers and personnel ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The event, organised by Anjuman-e-Tajiran Mirpurkhas, included the distribution of Eid gifts and sweets among the police officials deployed across the city.

The association’s president, Anees-ur-Rehman Sheikh, and General Secretary Muhammad Amin Memon, along with other members, visited various markets and praised the police for their performance, dedication and role in maintaining law and order.

Senior police officials, including SSP Syed Fida Hussain Shah and DSP Aslam Jagirani, attended the ceremony and expressed gratitude to the traders’ community for the gesture.

Several trader representatives were also present at the event.

The speakers said the efforts and sacrifices of the police had contributed to an improved security situation in the city and helped ensure a safe environment for the public during the Eid period.
