Pakistan overpower Thailand 5-0 to stay unbeaten at APPC 2026

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jun, 2026) Pakistan continued their impressive run in the Asia Pacific Padel Cup (APPC) 2026 with another commanding 5-0 victory, this time defeating Thailand in their second Group A fixture at Play Padel McKinley in Manila, Philippines, on Friday.

Pakistan produced a flawless performance, winning all five ties across the men's, women's and mixed categories to remain unbeaten in the tournament.

The opening men's fixture saw Abdullah and Muhammad register a comfortable 6-3, 6-2 victory over Thailand's Kavi and Wongsathorn. Pakistan doubled their lead when Muhammad and Farhan edged Stefano and Joel in a closely contested match, winning 7-6, 7-5.

In the women's match, Sheeza and Asfa fought back strongly to beat Anais and Thassha 7-6, 6-3, ensuring Pakistan had already sealed the tie.

Pakistan completed the clean sweep in the mixed fixture, where Muhammad and Asfa defeated Kridchaya and Chattida 6-1, 7-6, before Huzaima and Meheq overcame Anais and Joel 7-6, 6-2 to make it 5-0.

With consecutive 5-0 victories over South Korea and Thailand, Pakistan has maintained a perfect record in Group A and strengthened their position ahead of the remaining group-stage matches.
