Police arrests drug peddler, recover marijuana, weapon

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) On the directives of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razq Dharejo and SSP Shahzeb Chachar Pinyari Police carried out a massive crackdown against drug peddlers.

SHO Pinyari police station along with his taff acting on a tip-off while suspects opened firing on plice in resistence however in retaliation police also opened fire amd held an accused Ayaz with 1200 kg marijuana, one pistol with ammunition while his 12 accomplices Danish alias Dani Mota, Sajjad Kachi, Murtaza Arain, Papoo, Shah Rukh Jatoi.

Zahid Jatoi, Toto Jatoi, Zohaib Jatoi. Manoo Arrain, Dilshad Qazi, Imran Qureshi and Zia Qureshi escaped from the scene. Police have registered cases against the suspect under substance of narcotics control act and Sindh arms act.
