No negligence in security of Chinese nationals to be tolerated: CPO

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain paid an important visit to Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) installations and reviewed security arrangements for Chinese nationals working on various industrial projects in Faisalabad.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Imran Ahmad Malik, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Nasir Javed, SP Azhar Javed and other senior police officers accompanied the CPO during the visit.

The police team conducted a detailed inspection of security arrangements at the LED Zone, Shanghai Factory and MMC Factory, where Chinese nationals are engaged in industrial and development activities.

The CPO checked CCTV cameras and monitoring systems installed for security surveillance and reviewed the effectiveness of the overall security mechanism put in place for the protection of Chinese citizens.

He directed that use of bulletproof vehicles during the movement of Chinese nationals should be made mandatory to further strengthen their security.

He also instructed the SP Madina Division to ensure daily checking of police officials deployed on security duties so that all personnel remain alert and fully compliant with standard operating procedures.

The CPO stressed that all relevant departments and institutions should maintain complete coordination regarding security arrangements for Chinese nationals and said that effective liaison among agencies was essential to ensure foolproof security. No negligence or lapse in the security of Chinese citizens would be tolerated and the police officers should remain highly vigilant while performing assigned duties, he added.
