DPM/FM Dar, FM Rivera review Pak-Costa Rica bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Costa Rica Manuel Tovar Rivera, Tuesday, reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries.

The DPM/FM met with the foreign minister of Costa Rica on the sidelines of the high-level UNSC meeting in New York, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.

The two sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation across diverse sectors of mutual interest, including through sustained high-level engagement.

The meeting was also attended by Rebeca Grynspan, the candidate nominated by the Republic of Costa Rica for the position of Secretary General of the United Nations.

They also exchanged views on regional and international developments, reaffirming their commitment to dialogue, multilateralism, and effective cooperation within the UN framework.
