Exemplary cleanliness arrangements to be ensured during Eidul Azha: MD Suthra Punjab

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2026) Suthra Punjab Authority (SPA) Managing Director Abid Hussain Bhatti visited the Model Cattle

Market at Niamuana to review cleanliness arrangements and said that SPA was committed to

ensuring exemplary sanitation services during Eidul Azha.

He said that maintaining the city in an ideal clean condition during Eidul Azha and providing

services beyond public expectations was top priority of the authority.

He directed the sanitation staff and field teams to ensure continuous cleanliness in and around

the Model Cattle Market to facilitate traders and citizens visiting the market for sacrificial animals.

He inspected various sections of the cattle market and reviewed the disposal arrangements

for waste and other sanitation-related measures.

He also interacted with traders and buyers present at the market and sought their feedback

regarding cleanliness and sanitation facilities.

Abid Hussain Bhatti emphasized that special cleanliness operations were being carried out

across the district in view of the expected rush of citizens ahead of Eidul Azha.

He directed the SPA officials to remain active in the field and ensure immediate response

to sanitation complaints.

District Manager SPA Ata-ul-Mohsin, Tehsil Manager Abdullah Amjad and Field Monitoring

Officer Muhammad Shahzaib also accompanied him during this visit.
