During the visit, the District Police Officer thanked the office-bearers and members of the press club for their hospitality and warm welcome.

The meeting focused on law and order, maintenance of peace, public safety and measures aimed at curbing criminal activities in the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Samad Khan urged the journalist community to play a constructive role in promoting better understanding, mutual trust and stronger coordination among police, the public and the security forces.

He said collective efforts were essential to effectively counter terrorism, narcotics, aerial firing and other anti-social activities.

The DPO said responsible journalism played a vital role in creating public awareness, guiding the younger generation and promoting positive values within society.

He added that police, the Pakistan Army, media and other law enforcement agencies were united in their commitment to ensuring national security, maintaining peace and eliminating crime.

He further said all state institutions were working together to thwart the designs of anti-state and anti-social elements and ensure lasting peace in the region.
