Woman found murdered at residence

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2026) A 38-year-old woman was found murdered at a house in Dewan Ka Bagh on Nawabpur Road in Multan.

According to rescue officials, two emergency vehicles, including a motorbike ambulance, were dispatched to the scene. The rescue team reached the location within eight minutes after receiving information and found the woman already dead.

The deceased was identified as Parveen Mai, wife of Muhammad Irfan. Initial reports from people present at the scene suggested that the woman was alone at home when an unidentified suspect entered the house and attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon. Locals also suspected a possible robbery attempt.

Police launched an investigation from multiple angles while forensic teams collected evidence from the crime scene. The body was shifted to Nishtar Hospital in the presence of police officials.
