Woman and girl die, five injured in Upper Dir road mishap

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2026) At least two people including a woman were Killed and five others injured in a road mishap in Sheringal area of Upper Dir on Sunday.

According to rescue sources, a four-wheel pickup vehicle fell into a deep ravine near Majal Khwar Dogdara.

The vehicle was reportedly being driven by Hamid Ur Rehman, son of Sadbar, a resident of Majal Khwar Dogdara, when it went out of control and plunged into the ravine.

As a result, the wife of Roz Muhammad Khan and the daughter of Riazullah died on the spot while five other passengers were injured in the incident.

Rescue teams immediately shifted the injured to the RHC Hospital Sheringal for medical treatment.
