Wafaqi Mohtasib to establish regional office in Shaheed Benazirabad for expanding outreach

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat will establish a new regional office in the Shaheed Benazirabad division to ensure easy access to justice at the doorstep for the people of the region.

Federal Ombudsman Naveed Kamran Baloch expressed these views during a visit to the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat, Regional Office Karachi, on Monday. According to a statement issued here, he also reviewed the office’s functioning, performance, and complaint redressal mechanisms.

Baloch stated that after the establishment of the Regional Office Larkana, the establishment of a new Regional Office at Shaheed Benazirabad is also underway and will be notified soon. He observed that this initiative would help ensure easy access to justice at the doorstep for the people of these regions.

Wafaqi Mohtasib emphasized the importance of maintaining an “open doors policy” to ensure maximum, prompt, and effective relief to the public against maladministration, stressing that citizens approaching the institution should be facilitated with courtesy, transparency and speedy disposal of their complaints.

The Wafaqi Mohtasib appreciated the performance of the officials of the Regional Office Karachi in addressing public grievances and directed. The institution of Wafaqi Mohtasib plays a vital role in strengthening public trust by providing free and expeditious justice to citizens, he underlined.
