HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) here on Friday checked 76 public transport vehicles on M9 Motorway to ensure compliance with the government approved fares.
According to the Secretary RTA Hasnain Raza, they issued fines to 46 vehicles for charging excess fares from the passengers who had started to return to their hometowns from Karachi to celebrate the upcoming Eid.

The Secretary said the fares monitoring would continue on a daily basis over the next 10 days to 12 days.
