District administration ensures full facilities at cattle markets across Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) The district administration has activated comprehensive arrangements at cattle markets across Abbottabad to facilitate citizens with smooth, organized, and well-managed facilities for the purchase of sacrificial animals during Eid-ul-Azha.

On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram, teams of the district administration are visiting different cattle markets to ensure the provision of essential services, security, and cleanliness for both buyers and sellers.

Officials of the TMA, livestock specialists, and other concerned staff accompanied the officers during the visits, where administrative and security arrangements were thoroughly reviewed.

The inspection focused on the availability of fodder for animals, shaded areas, veterinary health check-ups, proper entry and exit arrangements, cleanliness, and waste collection systems at the markets.

The district administration stated that continuous monitoring of cattle markets will continue throughout Eid-ul-Azha to provide citizens with a safe, organized, and convenient environment for buying sacrificial animals.
