SRSO clarifies media reports on Govt High School Numaish Colony, Sukkur

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) The Sindh Rural Support Organisation (SRSO) has clarified media reports concerning Govt High School Nuamish Colony, Sukkur, stating that a joint visit found the school’s facilities and systems functioning effectively.

According to SRSO Media consultant Jamil Ahmed on Friday, a joint visit was conducted on May 12, 2026, by the District education Officer (DEO) Secondary Schools Sukkur, Ghulam Murtaza Shah, and the SRSO Education Team.

During the inspection, each classroom was checked to assess teaching activities and the overall learning environment. The rooftop solar system, comprising 53 solar panels and three functional inverters, was found to be supplying electricity to all classes.

Water tanks in the basement, ground and rooftop, along with water motors, were also inspected and found operational.

Following the visit, the DEO directed school staff to switch off fans after school hours as part of energy conservation measures. He also instructed the management to arrange motivational sessions for teachers and to encourage staff to educate students with care and dedication.

The visit concluded with appreciation for the school’s maintenance of its solar and water systems, with emphasis on sustaining the practices.
