DC reviews progress of development projects in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) A meeting of the District Development Review Committee was held in Chiniot on Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan to review the progress of ongoing development projects across the district.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Development Muhammad Saeed, Exxon Highways Muhammad Ahmed, Managing Director WASA Muhammad Rafi and representatives of other relevant departments. Officials briefed the participants on various development schemes, including road construction and rehabilitation, sewage and drainage projects, and other public welfare initiatives underway in the district.

During the session, concerned officers informed the committee about the current status of projects, challenges being faced and expected timelines for completion.

The deputy commissioner directed all departments to ensure timely completion of development schemes and emphasized that no compromise would be tolerated on the quality of construction work.

Ayesha Rizwan said transparency, efficiency and quality in public welfare projects remained the top priority of the district administration. She added that the government was committed to providing improved civic facilities and better infrastructure to residents through effective implementation of development initiatives.
