Painting competition held at arts council

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) A painting competition titled “We are mothers, we are sisters, we are daughters, the pride of the nation lies with us” was organized under the aegis of Punjab Council of Arts here on Friday.

Hundreds of talented youth from Faisalabad division participated in the competition.

Muqaddas Shakeel secured the first position and won a prize of Rs 50,000, while the second position went to Syeda Aqsa, who received Rs 30,000. Momina, who secured the third position, received a prize of Rs 20,000.

Meanwhile, Commissioner Mussarat Jabeen visited the arts council and encouraged the students participating in the competition.

Director Development Asif Iqbal Chohan congratulated the position holders and distributed prizes.

MPA Qudsia Batool, President PML-N Women's Wing Dr. Sania Arshad, Incharge Institute of Art and Design College Tehmina Afzal and others were also present.
