SPs Tahir, Iqbal review security at Red Zone checkpoints, issue directions

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) Aiwan-e-Sadr/Parliament House Tahir Khan and SP Judicial Protection Unit Iqbal Khan visited various points in the Red Zone, including Margalla checkpost, to review security arrangements.

An official told APP on Friday that the officers inspected duty points and assessed deployment of personnel in the Sensitive area.

Both officers briefed personnel about the nature of their duties and directed them to remain alert and vigilant.

The official said strict instructions were issued to ensure professionalism and preparedness while performing security duties.

The officers emphasized effective monitoring and coordination to handle any untoward situation.
