SPAL intensifies cleanliness drive at Lahore Railway Station, adjoining areas

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) The Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore (SPAL) has intensified its cleanliness drive across the city to ensure high sanitation standards.

According to a press release issued on Monday, the SPAL launched extensive sanitation operations at Lahore Railway Station to provide a clean, pleasant, and safe environment for passengers arriving from across Pakistan.

The operations covered railway platforms, waiting areas, and surrounding zones.

More than 250 sanitation workers were deployed in adjoining localities to maintain cleanliness. Manual sweeping, scraping, and washing activities were carried out in Nolakha, Railway Road, Badami Bagh, and Lari Adda.

In addition, cleanliness teams remained active in Haji Camp, Empress Road, MacLeod Road, Nicholson Road, and Dil Muhammad Road. The SPAL machinery and staff continued operations in three shifts to ensure uninterrupted sanitation services across the area.
