IGP takes notice of triple murder incident in Pasrur

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem took notice of the killing of three persons in a firing incident over a domestic dispute in Pasrur, Sialkot, and sought a report from the regional police officer (RPO) Gujranwala

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem took notice of the killing of three persons in a firing incident over a domestic dispute in Pasrur, Sialkot, and sought a report from the regional police officer (RPO) Gujranwala.

According to Punjab Police spokesperson, the IGP directed district police officer (DPO) Sialkot to ensure the immediate arrest of the suspect involved in the incident.

He ordered police authorities to utilise all available resources for the arrest of the accused, who fled the scene after the incident.

Police said the suspect allegedly opened fire following a domestic dispute, killing his wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law.

The deceased were identified as Saba, wife of the suspect, her mother Faheema and brother Sufyan.
