Security reviewed for Eid ul Fitr

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) The provincial government has sought security reports from all districts in view of the overall security situation ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The authorities concerned have issued directives to make special security arrangements at mosques and Eidgahs during the Eid prayers

According to officials on Saturday, administrative reports from different districts will be reviewed to identify sensitive places of worship.

Law-enforcement personnel will be deployed at these sensitive locations to ensure the safety of worshippers.

The government has also ordered a high alert across various areas of the province, including Peshawar and directed officials to implement strict security measures at important locations during the Eid celebrations.
