Saudi Ministry of Defense intercepts ballistic missile launched toward Al-Kharj

RIYADH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 18th Mar, 2026) Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense Major General Turki Al-Malki stated that a ballistic missile launched toward Al-Kharj Governorate was intercepted and destroyed, with shrapnel falling in the vicinity of Prince Sultan Air Base, causing no damage.

Major General Al-Malki said that six drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Eastern Region.
