Saudi Arabia announces Umrah 1448 AH calendar, visas from May 31

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2026) Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the Umrah 1448 AH season Calendar on Sunday, including key dates for visa issuance, pilgrims’ arrival and electronic permit services as part of efforts to improve operational efficiency and pilgrim services.

According to SPA, issuance of Umrah visas and the arrival of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia will begin on May 31, 2026.

The ministry said Umrah performers will be able to enter Makkah and obtain permits through the Nusuk application starting June 1, 2026.

The report said the deadline for issuing Umrah visas has been set for March 9, 2027, while March 23, 2027, will be the final date for Umrah pilgrims to enter the Kingdom.

The Ministry added that April 7, 2027, has been designated as the final departure date for Umrah performers from Saudi Arabia. It urged Umrah companies and overseas agents to strictly follow the approved schedule and comply with all regulations and instructions to ensure high-quality services for pilgrims throughout the season.
