Sardar Tanveer Ilyas appointed IPP AJK president, Nisar Abdali named general secretary

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) on Friday announced the appointment of its President and General Secretary for Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).

IPP President, Abdul Aleem Khan, has appointed former prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Tanveer Ilyas as President of the party's AJK chapter, while Nisar Anser Abdali was named General Secretary, said a press release.

Official notifications for both appointments have been issued bearing the signature of IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan.
