Sanghar holds ceremonies to mark completion of one year of “Marka-e-Haq”

SANGHAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) A week of thanksgiving celebrations marking the completion of one year of “Marka-e-Haq” and “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos” continues across District Sanghar with enthusiasm and national spirit, featuring a series of academic and social events.

In this connection, a ceremony was held at the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Campus Sanghar, where thousands of students participated. The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Sara Javed, political and social leader Akbar Khan Mari, and minority representative of the National Peace Message Committee Pakistan Rajesh Kumar Harsadani as chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sara Javed said that “Marka-e-Haq” represents a significant chapter in national history, symbolising unity, sacrifice, and resilience.

She said that the professional capabilities of the armed forces and their strategic response to adversarial challenges have conveyed a clear message that while Pakistan is a peace-loving nation, it is fully capable of responding decisively to any aggression.

Akbar Khan Mari said that due to the effective strategy of Field Marshal Asim Munir, India faced a decisive defeat in “Marka-e-Haq,” adding that the country’s defence remains in strong and capable hands.

Rajesh Kumar Harsadani briefed students on “Marka-e-Haq” and Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, stating that Pakistan’s defence is strengthened by the professionalism of the armed forces and national unity. He added that such events play an important role in fostering patriotism and awareness among the younger generation.

The ceremony was also attended by Campus Director Mansoor Ali Khuhro, Assistant Commissioner Sanghar Shafiq Ahmed Arisar, Trainee Assistant Commissioner Sana Shafqat, Deputy Director Information Zafar Ali Mangi, and other officials and members of civil society.

The event was moderated by a student from the English Department, Asma. The programme concluded with special prayers highlighting the significance of “Marka-e-Haq” and the promotion of national unity.
