'Marka-e-Haq showcased Pakistan’s strength, unity and invincible defense'

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Central Senior Vice President Youth Wing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Member Punjab Assembly (MPA) Rana Ahmad Sheharyar Khan on Tuesday said that Marka-e-Haq had vividly demonstrated Pakistan’s dignity, honor and great defence capability to the world, reiterating that the country desires peace but would never compromise on its sovereignty and security.

In a special statement issued in connection with the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, he said the enemy was given a befitting response that made it clear to the world that the Pakistani nation does not bow before aggression.

He said that Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos was not merely a military engagement but a decisive “Marka-e-Haq” that proved Pakistan is a strong, united and self-respecting nation fully capable of defending its borders at all costs.

Rana Ahmad Sheharyar said that the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq is not only a remembrance of an event but also a day to renew the nation’s resolve for honor, dignity and self-reliance.

He said that the Pakistan Army, Air Force and Navy demonstrated exceptional professionalism, courage and sacrifice, proving that the country’s defence is in safe hands. The nation takes immense pride in its armed forces, which remain ever ready to defend the motherland, he added.
