RPO holds video-link meeting of coordination committee

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) A video-link meeting of the Regional Coordination Committee was held under the chairmanship of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan, in which DPOs of Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar and heads of police agencies participated.

The RPO expressed satisfaction on mutual contacts and cooperation between all police agencies. The meeting considered the security arrangements made on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha , measures related to the implementation of traffic rules, border areas check posts and foolproof security arrangements at sensitive places.

The RPO told the attendees that during the Eid holidays, protection of the public should be ensured. All necessary steps should be taken to maintain traffic flow and the security arrangements at places of public gatherings should be monitored by the police officers concerned and necessary measures should be taken to prevent any untoward incident.
