Rewa police bust 4-member burglary gang, valuables worth Rs1.4 million recovered

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Police in Chiniot have arrested a four-member gang allegedly involved in a series of burglary incidents, recovering stolen property worth over Rs1.4 million, officials said on Thursday.

The operation was conducted by Station House Officer Waseem Sajjad along with his team from Rewa Police Station.

Police said the suspects were wanted in connection with 15 different criminal cases registered at the same police station.

Officials added that the arrested accused were linked to multiple burglary incidents in the area, and stolen valuables were recovered during the raid. Further investigation is underway, with police expecting additional disclosures and possible links to other cases.

Police said efforts are continuing to curb street crime and dismantle criminal networks operating in the region.
