Punjab Ombudsman office holds awareness session

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) In connection with the ongoing public awareness campaign and activities for the prompt redressal of public complaints by the Office of the Ombudsman of Punjab, an awareness session was held at Chak 232/R-B near Sitara Colony here on Wednesday.

A large number of people including dignitaries of the area participated in the session.

On the occasion, Advisors to the Ombudsman Muhammad Nawaz Khalid Arabi and Dr. Tariq Sardar addressed the participants and highlighted the 28-year services of the office, effective measures for public relief and transparent and fast-track investigation system.

The advisors clarified that the Ombudsman office is providing a free, easy and transparent platform to people for providing them justice on merit without any expense, without a lawyer, without recommendation and without the need to visit the office.

He said that complaints of the people are disposed of in the shortest possible time.

He further informed that citizens can easily lodge their complaints through online portal, mobile app, WhatsApp, by post or through the nearest regional offices.
