Punjab minister reviews development projects in PP-153

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique on Friday reviewed progress on various development projects underway in Constituency PP-153 and directed the authorities concerned to complete all ongoing schemes within the stipulated timeline.

Chairing an important meeting in Lahore, the minister said that under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, provision of basic facilities to the people remains the top priority of the Punjab government. He said no compromise would be made on the quality of development projects and transparent monitoring of all schemes was being ensured.

The meeting reviewed multiple development projects, including the Harbanspura to Phatak Saddar Cantt trunk sewerage project worth Rs. 4.5 billion, installation of tube-wells in Amna Park of UC-148 costing Rs. 1.1 billion, street rehabilitation, sewerage improvement and clean water supply schemes.

Officials informed the meeting that hundreds of streets had already been repaired in PP-153 while work on several other development schemes was progressing rapidly and would provide improved civic facilities to millions of residents after completion.
