ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Friday, losing 830.92 points, a negative change of 0.49 percent, to close at 168,062.17 points compared to 168,893.09 points on the previous trading day, according to PSX data.
During the session, the ready market recorded a trading volume of 536,241,529 shares with a traded value of Rs 25.540 billion, against 692,402,897 shares valuing Rs 35.804 billion in the previous session. Market capitalization decreased to Rs 18.930 trillion from Rs 19.019 trillion a day earlier.
Out of 472 active companies in the ready market, 161 advanced, 257 declined, and 54 remained unchanged.
Unity Foods Limited topped the volume chart with 50,304,604 shares, followed by F.
Nat.Equities with 36,245,681 shares and Bank of Punjab with 30,604,655 shares.
The top gainers included PIA Holding Company LimitedB, which rose by Rs 947.34 to close at Rs 17,444.94, and Nestle Pakistan Limited, which gained Rs 95.89 to settle at Rs 7,998.89.
On the losing side, Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited declined by Rs 321.77 to close at Rs 25,255.00, while Sapphire Fibres Limited fell by Rs 95.93 to close at Rs 1,054.01.
In the futures market, turnover stood at 594,731,500 shares with a traded value of Rs 27.086 billion, compared to 542,665,000 shares worth Rs 28.614 billion in the previous session.
Out of 343 futures-market companies, 90 recorded gains, 252 declined, while 1 remained unchanged.
