Two brothers drown in canal

NAWABSHAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Two real brothers lost their lives while bathing in Amiri Branch canal in the Amir Ji Mori area of Tehsil Daur, on Friday. Upon receiving the information about the tragic incident, the Rescue 1122 control room immediately dispatched a team to the scene.

The rescue personnel reached the incident site promptly and conducted a search operation with professional expertise, recovering the bodies of both brothers from the Amiri Branch.

According to rescue officials, the two youths accidentally moved into deeper water while bathing, which led to the unfortunate incident. After completing necessary formalities, the bodies were handed over to concerned authorities.

Rescue 1122 has urged citizens to exercise caution while bathing in canals and water channels to prevent such tragic accidents.
