Providing clean environment to citizens top priority: DC

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) Providing a clean environment to the citizens is the top priority of the district administration

and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard, said Deputy Commissioner Cap (R) Nadeem Nasir.

Chairing a meeting held to review Suthra Punjab Program here on Monday, he urged the quarters concerned

to pay special attention to sanitation issues especially in City, Sadar and Jaranwala tehsils by ensuring

best and effective measures.

He directed for imposing fines on poor sanitation arrangements and taking strict action against those responsible.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the assistant commissioners to hold meetings with the Assistant Manager and Manager Operations on a daily basis to review the performance so that the sanitation process can be made more effective and productive.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters), Chief Executive Officer Faisalabad Waste Management Company, contractors and other concerned officers attended the meeting and briefed on the current situation of various areas.
