President expresses grief over loss of lives in Venezuela earthquake

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jun, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives and widespread devastation caused by the powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela.

The president extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and conveyed his sympathies to the Government and people of Venezuela during this difficult time, said a statement issued from President House media wing.

President Asif Ali Zardari said that the people of Pakistan stood in solidarity with the people of Venezuela and shared their grief. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the disaster and for strength and resilience for all those affected.

The president expressed the hope that the people of Venezuela would overcome this tragedy with courage and determination and that relief and rescue efforts would bring timely assistance to those in need.
