Police recover kidnapped person within an hour

DERA GHAZI KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) In a swift and coordinated operation, Dera Ghazi Khan police successfully recovered a kidnapped citizen, Muhammad Ahmad, along with his vehicle within an hour of the incident.

According to police sources, Muhammad Ahmad was allegedly abducted by unidentified suspects near Bhatta Colony in the jurisdiction of Civil Lines Police Station. The assailants reportedly fled after kidnapping him along with his Toyota Grande car.

Upon receiving the information, Civil Lines Police immediately reached the scene and launched an investigation from multiple angles while collecting evidence.

Taking prompt notice of the incident, the DPO Dera Ghazi Khan directed police teams to ensure the safe recovery of the victim and arrest the culprits at the earliest.

Using modern technology, CCTV footage, and intelligence-based information, police traced the movement of the suspects and conducted strategic blockades and raids at various locations.

As a result of the timely action and coordinated efforts, Muhammad Ahmad was safely recovered within an hour along with his vehicle. However, the kidnappers managed to escape after abandoning their own vehicle, which has now been taken into police custody.

Police said search operations are underway in different areas to arrest the suspects involved in the kidnapping, and they will soon be brought to justice.
