Police recover 30 stolen motorcycles in June, return to owners

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) The Sargodha police’s Anti-Vehicle Lifting Squad (AVLS) recovered 30 stolen and tempered motorcycles worth millions of rupees and handed them over to their rightful owners during successful operations conducted across the district in the month of June 2026.

According to a press release issued by DPO office, these crackdowns were carried out following the vision of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha Shehzad Asif Khan and the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf.

Under the supervision of SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chaddhar, the AVLS team led by Incharge Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Asif Mahmood successfully tracked down the vehicles that had been snatched or stolen from various localities.

The SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chadhar formally handed over the recovered property to the original owners at a ceremony held here.

While speaking on the occasion, SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chaddhar stated that the Sargodha police remained fully committed to protecting the lives and properties of citizens and would continue its proactive operations against criminal elements to ensure a peaceful environment in the region.
