Police bust two members gang involved in looting shoppers

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2026) Police have arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in stealing belongings from shoppers during an operation here on Friday.

According to police spokesperson, the suspects targeted citizens visiting shopping areas and stole their valuables.

During the operation, officers recovered a stolen LCD television, mobile phones, Rs10,000 in cash, and other items from the suspects.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad commended police team and said the accused would be presented before the court with solid evidence.

He added that those who were involved in depriving citizens of their valuable belongings would not evade the law.
