KARACHI: (UrduPoint /UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-July 9th, 2026) The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has extended the registration deadline for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT), giving aspiring medical and dental students across the country more time to complete the application process.

The council said the decision was taken to facilitate students who were unable to complete their applications before the previous deadline.

The regulatory body also introduced an extended registration window for late applicants. According to the revised schedule, candidates who fail to register by July 13 will still be able to submit their applications with a prescribed late fee until July 18, 2026.

The PMDC urged all prospective candidates to complete their registration well before the closing dates to avoid last-minute technical issues or delays. Students have also been advised to carefully review their application details and ensure that all required documents are submitted accurately during the registration process.
