Egyptian woman earns PhD at 83, defying age barriers

CAIRO: An 83-year-old Egyptian woman, Amal Ismail Abdo, has inspired people around the world by earning a PhD in sociology, demonstrating that age is no barrier to education or achieving lifelong dreams.
