Two arrested in Jand over alleged assault and blackmail of minor

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) Police have arrested two suspects in the Jand area of Attock over allegations of assaulting a minor boy, recording objectionable videos and blackmailing him at gunpoint, officials said on Friday.

According to police, the case was reported by the victim’s mother at Jand Police Station, stating that during her absence from home, two individuals allegedly entered the house and threatened her 13-year-old son with a pistol. The suspects were also accused of assaulting the minor and recording inappropriate videos.

Police identified the accused as Faraz, son of Tariq, and Hamza, son of Farooq, both residents of the Mari area in Jand tehsil. Acting swiftly on the complaint, police registered a case and arrested both suspects within a short time.

Officials said further investigation is underway to determine the full circumstances of the incident and gather additional evidence.
