NADRA warns citizens about fake website

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Saturday warned citizens about a fake website to avoid online fraud.

NADRA stated that a fake website based on a copy of the organization’s visa portal has been identified, which is: https//www.visa.nadragov.online.

According to NADRA local chapter sources, this website is not affiliated with the organisation and may be being used to obtain personal information or payments. The message states that citizens are advised not to access this website and not to provide any information on it, the only official visa portal of the agency is https//visa.nadra.gov.pk.

Furthermore, NADRA has said that always ensure that the Authority's services are used only through official websites ending in .

gov.pk.

On the other hand, the National Cyber Emergency Team has issued a new advisory for citizens, according to which nine NADRA-style websites were blocked in a month that were stealing the personal information of citizens.

The alert states that fake NADRA-style websites were working to steal citizens' data.

Meanwhile, citizens have been instructed not to share personal information without verification and not to click on suspicious email links and SMS.

The advisory further states that NADRA and N-Cert are active against misleading cyber activities.
