Gold prices decline by Rs 2,100 per tola

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Tuesday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 2,100 to settle at Rs 477,862 compared to Rs 479,962 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold declined by Rs 1,801 to Rs 409,689 from Rs 411,490, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 1,651 to Rs 375,561 against Rs 377,212.

In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $21 to $4,555 per ounce from $4,576.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 65 to Rs 7,849 from Rs 7,914, while the price of 10 grams of silver also fell by Rs 55 to Rs 6,729 from Rs 6,784.

The price of silver in the international market decreased by $0.65 to $73.65 per ounce from $74.30.
