MNA hails Pakistan's role in facilitating US-Iran peace deal

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jun, 2026) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Malik Abrar Ahmed, on Thursday lauded Pakistan's leadership and state institutions for their constructive role in facilitating the peace agreement between the United States (US) and Iran.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament, he commended the Prime Minister, the Chief of Defence Forces, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, the Interior Minister, their respective teams, and the "hidden heroes" whose efforts, he said, helped avert a major military conflict in the region and further enhanced Pakistan's international standing by promoting the message of peace.

Malik Abrar expressed optimism that the peace agreement would have positive implications for Pakistan's economy and bring relief and benefits to the people.
