Man awarded life imprisonment in Morgah murder case

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) A local court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to a convict in a murder case registered at Morgah

Police Station.

According to a spokesperson for Rawalpindi Police, the court sentenced Zeeshan to life imprisonment and also

imposed a fine of Rs. 400,000.

0 as compensation.

The convict had stabbed a citizen to death in January 2025 following a minor altercation within the limits of Morgah

Police Station.

City Police Officer Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani appreciated the efforts of the SSP Investigation and the

investigation and legal teams for ensuring conviction in the case.
