KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) As many as 64 motorbikes were distributed among officers and employees of the Livestock Department to ensure provision of veterinary services at the doorsteps of farmers.
Of the total, 21 motorbikes were given to officers while 43 were handed over to paramedical staff during a ceremony held here on Friday.
MNA Muhammad Khan Daha and Deputy Commissioner Maliha Rashid distributed keys of the motorbikes among the selected employees.
Director Livestock Multan Division, Additional Director Livestock Khanewal, local leadership of PML-N, and officials and staff of the department also attended the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, MNA Muhammad Khan Daha appreciated the Punjab government’s initiative, saying the step would help improve veterinary services and facilitate farmers in remote areas. He directed the livestock staff to remain active in the field and serve farmers instead of staying confined to their offices.
