No meeting took place between Interior Minister, KP CM: Interior Ministry spokesperson

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior on Friday clarified that no meeting took place between Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi.

In a statement issued here, a spokesperson said that reports circulating in the media and on social media regarding such a meeting are baseless and fabricated.

The Ministry of Interior spokesperson said that all claims and reports suggesting any kind of meeting between the Federal Interior Minister and the Chief Minister of KP are contrary to the facts.

The spokesperson urged the public and media outlets to refrain from spreading unverified information and to rely on official statements for accurate updates.
