Two injured as house fire erupts over short circuit in Daska village

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) Two young men suffered burn injuries after a house caught fire due to a short circuit in Tragrri Sharif village along Bhalowali-Aimanabad Road on Friday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the fire was caused by a loose electrical connection and exposed wiring inside the house.

The injured were identified as Ali Raza(21) and Muhammad Kashif(22).

Rescue officials said both sustained burns while trying to remove motorcycles from the house during the fire.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene promptly,brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby structures.

The injured were provided first aid on the spot before being shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Daska.

Hospital sources said both victims were in stable condition and out of danger.

Rescue 1122 urged citizens to regularly inspect household electrical wiring and adopt safety precautions to prevent short-circuit fire incidents.
