Layyah revenue official arrested in ACE raid

LAYYAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) A team of Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) arrested a revenue official

during a raid while he was accepting illegal gratification from a complainant

in a property distribution (Wanda) case, an ACE official said on Wednesday.

Circle officer ACE Layyah inspector Ramzan and staff accompanying

magistrate took Saeed, a Patwari, in custody red handed after he received

heavy amount in bribe.

The ACE officials said, the amount was recovered from the accused Patwari

on the spot. He appealed the people to contact ACE officials in case official of provincial department demand illegal gratification. He said, ACE will continue it's campaign against corruption and no one would be spared if found involved in wrongdoing.
