Journalists, transporters hold rally to support Pakistan Army

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) A rally in favour of the Pakistan Army was jointly organized by Multan Press Club and the Public Transport Federation South Punjab.

Both of the journalists and transport representatives expressed solidarity with the armed forces and praised Operation “Ghazab lil-Haq” for national security and stability.

The journalist rally was taken out in front of the Press Club under the leadership of newly elected Senior Vice President Muhammad Khalid Chaudhry. Participants raised slogans in support of the Pakistan Army and appreciated its courageous role in defending the country. Those who attended included Mehboob Malik, Tariq Ismail, Sharif Joiya, Atif Awan, Khawaja Ashraf Siddiqui, Shakeel Chaudhry, Rashid Mushtaq, Kashif Warisi, Yasir Bhatti, Tanveer Chaudhry, Sohail Qureshi, Zahid Gondal, Arif Khan, Ahmar Khan and others.

Addressing the rally, Muhammad Khalid Chaudhry said the entire Pakistani nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces and their sacrifices for the defence of the country would never be forgotten.

In a related statement, Rana Muhammad Asghar, President of Public Transport Federation South Punjab, lauded the achievements of Operation “Ghazab lil-Haq,” calling it a timely and effective step for national stability. He said the Pakistan Army has once again shown professionalism, courage and dedication, adding that the transport community of South Punjab fully supports the armed forces and is ready to play its role in every national effort.

He also paid tribute to the martyrs and said their sacrifices for the safety of the country would always be remembered.
